I've probably watched as many Big Ten games as Big XII games over the
34 years I've been living in Nebraska.  

I think both conferences have good officials, but mistakes do happen.

And I hear about as much grumbling about officiating on the Northwestern
List as on the Husker List.  

If there's a difference, it has probably been that the Big XII has 
(presumably) dealt with blown calls behind the scenes while the Big 
Ten has publically apologized for several bad calls.  

Sometimes it has seemed like the Big Ten replay official is quicker
to buzz in than Big XII officials, but that's pretty subjective, too,
as I can recall numerous times when I thought a play in a Big Ten
game deserved further review and did not get one.

As to the A&M game, I think Bo will be advised to keep his thoughts
more private in the future.  Maybe after he retires he will write
a screenplay and sell it to Oliver Stone.
