I'm not sure why Delaney would be concerned with Bo's comments. First, it
happened last year, in a different league. And second, most viewers of the
game (even those aTm fans honest enough with themselves who saw what went
on) would have probably agreed with the official's comments - Nebraska got
jobbed.

Bo didn't mention the official's name or any particulars. Bo didn't blame
the official or imply the official indicated that they were out to job
Nebraska. I read it as an official commenting on the number and severity of
the calls in that game. I don't think anyone (with the possible exception
of the head referee) would necessarily disagree.

Now, if that happens in a B1G game this year, and one of the coaches goes
ballistic to the media on the call of the game, then Delaney gets upset.
Heck, a critical blown call by a referee this year will cause some
discomfort for the commissioner. And it should be addressed by dealing with
the offending referee(s), not the coaches who may have a legitimate
complaint. Remember Dan Beebe's response to the complaints last year?
Yeah, if Delaney adopts a similar position in the B1G, I'd be horribly
surprised.

As a reminder, here's a great article from the Utah Free Press on those
events, and Beebe's response (or lack thereof).
