[Husker] Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year

I was at a Division 2 University last year that really pushed this - Bo Atterberry at Texas A&M Kingsville - and he was by far the leader in votes at the end of the year and then after the year ends the top 5 get voted again.  He won both popular votes, but did not win the award.  I think the popular vote only counts for 20%.  So even if he isn't #1 - he still has a chance.  I'm not saying not to vote, I have voted each day for the last 3 - but not sure if it matters!
