[Husker] Stuck in the middle

Listening to the Nebraska press and fans reminds me if an old song by
Stealer's Wheel "clowns to the left of me jokers to the right". Some
painting doom others saying the titanic is unsinkable. The truth seems
to be in the middle and honestly fans should be well pleased.

Statistically the team is ahead of this point last year both
offensively and defensively. That being said we can't really predict
where things will go any more than we could this time last year. Who
would have thought we'd lose to Iowa State but go on to nearly win the
B12 and lead the nation in defense?

A 4-0 start is good but we also did that in 2005 only to see a run of
losses at mid season. The coming weeks will be the true test with KSU,
Texas, Ok State and Mizzou. The warm ups are done now its time to see
the team's mettle.
