UCF stopped Thomas, keying on him the whole game, but ultimately that was their downfall as Coffman was able to score on an easy option/zone play where he could run (using the term "run" loosely as it applies to Coffman) into the end zone. 

I don't think it's a matter of Compton coming back, as much as it is Lavonte David learning more of the defense, along with Whaley and Martin.
