[Husker] Stewart Mandel

Chris Polk has averaged nearly 100 yards a game this season. He was a 1000 yard
rusher last season as a freshman, and we've had issues stopping the run,
especially right up the gut when Nebraska goes dime. Frankly, Polk scares me
more than Jake Locker, because I think the Pelini's can scheme a way to limit
Jermaine Kearse with guys like Amukamara, Dennard, and Gomes.

A re-shuffled offensive line just this week for Washington means a true Freshman
making his first start on their O line. A lack of a running game to speak of.
I just don't see them scoring 20 points on us. That said, it's a much stiffer
test all the way around for us, and with a Freshman of our own at QB in a very
hostile environment, with our O having a tendency to give the ball away, points
might be hard for us to come by, too.

I think we have the POTENTIAL to have an explosive offense this year. But it's
kind of "I'll believe it when I see it for me". Hopes against hopes that we hang
onto the ball and rack up many points. But the skeptic in me says more like
Huskers 16-10.
