what i find disrespectful is when some one doesnt remove the hat on thier head.

Sorry to continue an off topic post, perhaps we could find a more
appropriate venue should the desire to continue.

The concept that someone might take offense to modifying a national
song to local fan fervor is a weak analogy to the Confederate Flag and
what it symbolizes.  I am sure that there are some individuals
(civilians and service members) who are offended by this brazen
display of disrespect and lack of patriotism; at least these folks are
loyal Sooner fans.

If a special tribute or homage is to paid to a solemn event there are
many other special ways to do so other than the singing of a song that
is constantly sung nearly daily at events ranging from a local bake
sale to backyard barbecues.

Oh, and the Washington game is scary - waiting for TM to get
comfortable to throw an accurate long ball.  I still think the O-line
can create better lanes for the run when we don't rely on the zone
read.
