Fwd: [Husker] Bohl Disses KU

The sad state of the KU fan base is a direct result of their basketball
mania and the down year the Jayhawks had in football last season. The fans
I know in Downs (43 miles south of Red Cloud, NE) are basically waiting for
basketball season and the powerhouse team they believe is on the way.
Others are mumbling about Gill being too nice and some even that he is too
religious. The best assessment I have heard came from a K-State fan who
notes the outcome likely says much more about the weakness of the KU offense
than the strength of North Dakota State or the coaching ability of Turner
Gill.

I agree with Rod. Everything he said is probably true, even if it's not
politically correct. But you do what you have to do to keep your team
motivated.
It does seem odd that he would make those comments knowing KU is coached by
a former Husker. Still, it's not like the first-year head coach is
responsible for the sad state of the fan base.
