The LJS article I read said the positions were not interchangable.

  I've re-watched about half the game, and I did notice that while David was 
amazing against the run, he did make several errors against pass coverage. 
Probably to be expected in his first start, and it sounds like he is a fast 
learner.

    On the post-game, bo was asked about David's play and he said "He made
    a lot of mistakes". I get the impression it's going to be some tough
    pactices for the D this week, regardless of the 39-point margin.
