You're probably right. But they are scrambling to fill game dates since becoming independent and it might be worth a phone call to see if they would do a one time shot in Lincoln.  It's a nice matchup, probably be televised, etc.  But we've aleady got plenty of fairly competitive games (understatement) in the next few years.  I just hope we don't end up with a return trip from South Dakota State or something like that. No disrespect intended to SDS but you know what I mean.

Nebraska has it's one non-conference away game scheduled through 2017. At this point, Nebraska is looking for home games only, and I don't think BYU is interested in playing in Lincoln without a return visit.

My guess is that most of the rest of the openings in Nebraska's schedule through 2017 are going to be filled with Sun Belt/WAC/1-AA teams that will come to Lincoln without demanding a return visit.
