[Husker] QB

[Tommy Thompson]

I watched the "Bo Pelini Show" or whatever it's really called, the other 
day.  When discussing the QB's, Bo said something like "Lee has a lot to 
overcome, due to his injury", "Green will be much better this year", 
"Martinez shows a lot of potential".  Basically, he didn't say that any of 
them were really shining.  He did gush over Brion Carnes.  He said something 
to the effect of "He's something special".  He also talked a little about 
Washington.  Said that Washington would available and ready if needed at QB, 
and he would also be playing on Special Teams, which was unusual for a QB.

Maybe he hasn't named a QB, yet, because he can't.  None of them has played 
at a level that is easily discernable above the others.

I think we could be in trouble at the QB spot.  None of these guys seems 
that special, nor due they seem to have the drive to want to seize the day. 
I hope I'm wrong.
