Hard to say, because maybe some players will think twice before leading
with their helmet, and maybe coaches will make that a point of emphasis
in coaching, like the NCAA did in the rulebook, as well as adding the
rule that permitted the Big XII office to levy the suspension.

And that's no different from previous years, at least as far as Nebraska's
relationship with the Big XII is concerned. It's been rocky from day one,
with a number of 11-1 votes.

And as far as someone's comment about being glad to leave the Big XII
officials behind, the Northwestern list has had many complaints about
Big Ten officiating over the years. This year the Big Ten seems to
be doing more booth reviews than in the past. Does anyone keep track
of the number of reviews by team or by conference? I'm curious to
know if this is is just a subjective impression on my part or something
that is verifiable, and if it is specific to the Big Ten conference
or nationwide.
