[Husker] Big XII Suspends Eric Martin for Mizzou Game

I don't know about all this conspiracy stuff, but it was not a legal hit. Look at the video starting at 1:34. That is Eric Martin at the bottom middle of the screen. He started sizing this guy up about 10 yards away, he tracked him, and then he came in high, with his head down, and put his helmet right into the guy's grill. No shoulder about it. It is not legal because:
1. It is illegal to hit a guy in the head
2. It is illegal to lead with your helmet
3. You sure as hell can't do both at the same time and Martin did.

Look, we all know this is the hottest of hot buttons, and Martin got caught on national television. Then they showed him laughing on the sideline with one of his boys while the other player was still down on the field. Looked pretty bad.

So if you want to think that the conference used this as an excuse to stick it to us, go ahead. But if you are on bad terms with the powers that be, and then you give them a reason to screw with you, well guess what? bohica
