Ah yes... We're into the heart of the season and the Huskers are doing
pretty good.  Save a few dropped passes and the excitement level would match
the early-season hype.

I don't think that we have seen the team peaking yet this season.  I do
believe the stars area aligned for a big W over the Tigers.   Gabbert is the
type of QB that the Blackshirts love to play!  Although, Martinez always
seems to lack confidence -- he produces.  I am sure that I am just overly
critical.  He makes some 'freshman' mistakes, but his athletic prowess is
freakish.

I am most excited because I finally will get to Lincoln for a game this
year...  And it gets better, I've freed up my work schedule to hit college
venues in four different cities in successive weeks:

Mizzou @ Nebraska in Lincoln
Nebraska @ Iowa St in Ames
Iowa @ Northwestern in Evanston
Nebraska @ Texas A&M in College Station


Life is good...and a big "W" this week puts the Big Red back into the hunt
for a berth in one of the BCS games.

Northwestern actually might be better than Michigan at this point. They
certainly gave Sparty a tougher game.
