I agree with Skylar - Nebraska is a better team than Texas. But, though
I hate to say it, Missouri appears to be a better team than Nebraska.

Nebraska's Offense vs Missouri's Defense

Rushing #5 (#1 in yrd/rush) vs #23
QB Passing Efficiency #20 vs #15
Total #17 vs #38
Red Zone #80 vs #1 !!
Scoring #10 vs #5 !

Missouri's Offense vs Nebraska's Defense
Rushing #79 (~#50 in yrd/rush) vs #79
QB Passing Efficiency #39 vs #2
Total #32 vs #18
Red Zone #19 vs #82 !!
Scoring #24 vs #17 !

Sagarin (in his most accurate ranking system, not the one used by the
BCS) has Nebraska at #10 (87.26) and Missouri at #5 (90.04), making the
game (@NE) a toss-up. If margin-of-victory is ignored (as in Sagarin's
BCS version), Missouri is favored by 4.

Missouri's stats are better and I also think that in close games, things
like scoring and redzone performance, and having a balanced offense is
more indicative of the outcome. Missouri is better than Nebraska in all
those categories, especially in the redzone where Missouri's performance
is impressive while Nebraska's is extremely poor.

Nebraska is going to need to bring their "A" game and fix their redzone
woes. On offense, they can't squander scoring opportunities (we may see
more of Alex Henery than in previous games) or have turnovers. On
defense, they must tighten up their rushing defense, put the pressure on
Gabbert, and hopefully get some ints.

Go Big Red!
Andy
