I did not see the game, but I would not be surprised to see less shotgun against Mizzou. MU runs a 3-4 D with a nose tackle over the center. I played C (and TE) and snapping the shotgun with a guy over your head is a dicey play. You snap and you know you are going to get clobbered. Now MU's starting NT broke his ankle (and he is one of their best players) against OU. Caputo would have his hands full with a shotgun snap and trying to drive him off the line.
