As Dir. of Football Operations, I thought most all are on the sidelines.  T.O.'s was a woman her name skips my mind right now and she was there under Solich too.  The few times I went to walk-through's on the Friday night before the game, she was the one who had my name on the list to let me in the gate.  

Now I do agree a bit in that is it necessary to walk down the tunnel and all, but hey, perks of the job too.  :)
