That among the many Nebraska fans, there are some who are stupid,
rude, and probably drunk, doesn't really get at the issues with
Pelini (or Paul). Pelini is a highly paid, highly visible leader
of what almost certainly is Nebraska's most public institution.
As such, the way he treats the press, his sideline decorum, and
his public demeanor are his not only his own actions, but they
reflect on the institution(s) which employ him and significantly
contribute toor detract from the public discourse. That we and
he should reject the vile behavior of some fans who behave badly
isn't really at issue.
