Unfortunately, I have lived 40 years in Texas and know too many UT grads. My
UT friends had told me all week that they would win. UT was very relaxed and
confident. Like OU, UT has our number. I can't remember ever beating UT when
we were favored, of course we have had only 1 win. When you think about the
fact that Texas has the most and best high school players in the nation. UT
can get any of them they want and they should win every game. I was told all
week that NU had only 3 or 4 players that could start for UT. Thank goodness
we are moving to the big 10. I will not miss the cheap chatter. We have some
tough games ahead, I hope we can win some of them.
Wes

Subject: [Husker] Better Team Lost

Watching the Huskers today felt like watching the Alabama/South Carolina
game last week.... in each case the overall better team lost. Nebraska did
not play to their potential and Texas, for the first time this year, played
above theirs. We largely beat ourselves. Would love to have one more shot at
them in the B12 championship game.
