[Husker] Drop...

Lynette, I'm not sure Joe Montana could have won for Nebraska today. The receivers and running backs just couldn't reel in and/or hold onto the ball.
And not to make excuses, but the conveniently-timed Texas injuries (which always seemed to happen just as NU's offense was getting momentum) and the inequitable penalty calls (probably made in consultation with the Big XII office in Dallas - who calls offsides 10 seconds after the play is dead???) made it a frustrating afternoon in Memorial today.

Out of the top 10 for sure.
Does it bring Texas back into the Top 25?
We have a LONG way to go to be a good team. I hate this --- easy early season
games, then REALITY BITES US in the Big XII behind!
We beat ourselves today. We can still win the North and the Big XII Championship
getting us a BCS Bowl.
We're just not a Top 5 team this year!
Should Lee have come in earlier? Like the 2nd quarter? Might not have made a
difference --- NO ONE could catch the ball!

Nah...not the passes...how far do you think Nebraska will drop in the polls? I
think to #12.
OK...the passes...how does that happen?
