I joined the list around that same time and made the Netsurfer's for Nebraska t-shirts for everyone! Wow, that seemed like yesterday. Anyone up for another round of Netsurfer for Nebraska shirts? :)

We were into our 4th season of broadcasting Husker games in the Twin Cities at that time -- Minnesotans for Nebraska (Jon Johnston, Roger Lohr, and others will recall). We had a run of 17 years up until a few years ago of carrying the games on a local radio station. I remember attending the gatherings at Mike's hose after spring games way back when. My two young children who are now 23 and 19 were amazed with Mike's big screen TV and the Green Mountain's he made at his soda fountain.

These days a big screen TV is not so unusual, and my latest one is a 72" HDTV,
which is fantastic for sports.

BTW, it is Green River (the original lemon lime soft drink), not green
mountain. :-)
