Another example of why declaring a champion of a sport based on an election is so silly.  Voters are influenced by a lot of things.

What's wrong with Boise State and Oregon playing for the BCS championship if those are the two teams that qualify for the game?  Only two teams get to play for the championship, it's a mathematical formula, why would there be any controversy?  It's right there in the numbers.  The AP poll, you mean another of the elections to pick the champion of a sport?  This one where the voters are a bunch of sportswriters?  Sounds definitive too.
What could be wrong with any of this?
