[Husker] John Blake Contacted Ndamukong Suh

According to the story, these contacts occurred last fall during Suh's senior
season, so a transfer wouldn't seem to be possible. We also don't know whether
these contacts were being made with Suh's permission, or Blake was instigating
the contact.

An interesting wrinkle on this is that Bo Pelini was criticized by some Nebraska
fans in 2004 for maintaining contact with many players while he was at Oklahoma.
I don't know the specifics; my understanding is that while Pelini didn't call
players, he did accept calls from his former players during Callahan's first
season at Nebraska. (I could be wrong about that...)

Depending on when, one could have thought Blake was recruiting Suh for a
transfer.

This is interesting. NU coaches found out about the contact between Blake and
Suh and didn't like it. The question is "why?" Blake and Suh had a
relationship and friendship, Suh was recruited and coached by Blake at NU. So
what was it that they didn't like about those two remaining in contact? Was is
because Blake was now coaching elsewhere (why would that make a difference?) or
were Blake's connections to an agent something that was known in the coaching
grapevine?
