Getting pretty excited for Thursday night. In conference, In division, this is the real deal. Road game, two undefeated teams. We've played four games, prep time for this season is over. If we've got it, now is the time to bring it.
I don't know what any of this really means at this point based on the level of competition, but it may provide some insight into the teams tendencies.
Rushing Offense
Neb - 4
KSU - 22
Passing Offense
Neb - 102
KSU - 82
I think both teams would rather run than pass.
Rushing Defense
Neb - 53
KSU - 102
Passing Defense
Neb - 3
KSU - 13
Neither team defends the run that well, Nebraska a bit better though. Seems like both teams are going run first, pass off of that, and hope they don't get in a situation where they have to pass to get back in the game. (Just like old times, eh?) Huskers have a multi-pronged attack - Martinez #11 in rushing, Helu #60, Burkhead #61. KSU relies on Daniel Thomas #5.
