Apparently the Big Ten has asked the Fighting Irish to join the Central
Collegiate Hockey Association along with Big Ten schools
Minnesota, Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State. Penn State is
contemplating fielding Division I teams in men's and women's hockey.
