I would guess that since TCU was a long-standing member of the old
Southwest Conference, and didn't get invited to join the Big XII along
with Texas and Texas cronies, that they simply have no desire to belong
to any conference that is led by Texas University.

The Big East needs more quality programs because there was already folks slamming them saying they didn't deserve the automatic BCS qualify. It's good for TCU as they recruit players who want to have a chance at BCS games and championship. TCU joins a conference where I think they will be highly valued and not get pushed around like they would have in another conference we know of. Good for them, good for the Big East. Not sure what the Big 12 is doing...or really care after Saturday night.
