[Husker] bowl musings

The few websites that I have looked at today predicts that OU will win the Conf. Championship Game.  I think it was CBS, puts NU in the Cotton Bowl against LSU, and College Football News, has NU in the Cotton Bowl also, against Alabama.  I would love for NU to win the CCG, but a game against LSU or Alabama would be fun also.  Both the prior mentioned sites has Stanford in the Fiesta Bowl and UCONN. in the Orange.  I know there is a lot of debate if NU will go to a bowl game in the state of Texas, but if the opponent is LSU or Alabama that would be fun to see.  Otherwise, it looks like it may be the Insight Bowl in Tempe against a Big 10 team, probable against Michigan.  I am not sure how "sexy" that match-up would be considering they play next year.  The knock on the Alamo Bowl is that it could be a re-match with Arizona.  I hope for the Fiesta, but I would be fine with the Cotton.  They say that the Insight Bowl has taken the place of the Holiday Bowl in picking the teams, because the Insight is paying more than the Holiday Bowl.
 
Who knows?
 
Looking forward to the NU OU match-up.  Should be fun to watch.  Saturday cannot arrive soon enough.
