OWH is reporting that it is a broken foot.

OWH lists Paul's backups as Will Henry and Quincy Enunwa. They have combined for three catches all season.  Lincoln Journal Star lists Paul's backups as Junior Curenski Gilleylen and sophomores Tim Marlowe and Khiry Cooper. (none with catches this season) They are listed behind Paul at the "Z" wideout position on the depth chart.

OK since it hasn't been mentioned here....just learned that Niles Paul suffered a foot injury in practice yesterday and will not play on Friday, and his situation is pending further evaluation ongoing. Meaning he may be done for the season.
