Unfortunately it sounds like that type of thing is pretty common when 
players are fighting for a fumble (or even just in a pile-up) - remember 
KSU QB Chad May accusing a Husker of gouging his eyes during a pile up?  
The main thing that makes this incident "newsworthy" is that  it was 
caught on film and is somewhat amusing (if you weren't Cotton).
