[Husker] Championship Game Question

Here is a question.

If NU beats CU and goes to the Championship Game.

It would be interesting if NU refused to play in the Championship Game
unless the Big 12 had it officiated by a non-conference officiating crew.
Maybe a Big 10 crew would be nice.

NU refuses to play...

Big 12 has a choice.

Give in and hire an outside crew.

Make the game a joke, and invite Big 12 North runner up (Essentially saying,
we will not put a neutral crew on the field, we would rather not have a real
championship game).

Not play the game and give the auto birth to the Big 12 South (Not gonna
happen too much money at stake).

Just a thought. This game sold the Conspiracy Theory for me. It was the PI
flag being picked up (How does that happen, I have seen uncatchable or
tipped lead to picking it up, but this was neither) and the roughing the
QB.
