Yeah!! Who knew you could use these things to study really important
stuff, like penalty calls in college football.
I want to thank each of you for this discussion. I think its great.
I'm not good at statistics, but I love them dearly. And right now I'm
sort of at a loss as to why there appears to be a statically
significant difference in the calls Nebraska opponents get. I mean,
we all watch games and can point out things the refs miss, but that's
to be expected to some degree (though the facemask tug on Burkhead is
still a mystery to me as to how they missed that but called the push
that followed). Do teams suddenly make less mistakes when they play
us? And should our ranking reflect the fact that the teams we play
are giving us their near best??
Interesting to be sure.
