[Husker] Texas-KSU

In general...
* Texas shut down Nebraska's running game.
This wasn't surprising . Nebraska's OL isn't nearly as good as
Nebraska's running stats suggest. Against weak rush defenses,
Martinez's and Helu's speed turn openings into TDs. But against decent
rush defenses, Nebraska's OL can't get the job done - and Texas has a
very good rush defense. All the speed in the world doesn't help if
there isn't a hole to run through.
* Nebraska lost their composure when they couldn't run and either
dropped passes or missed open receivers.
* Nebraska's surprisingly poor rush defense didn't stop Texas early in
the game.

Specifically...
Nebraska spotted Texas 10 points (helped by a fumble), then Nebraska's
surprisingly poor rush defense allowed a key TD drive to put Texas up 17-3.
At that point, the pressure was off Texas which allowed them to avoid
mistakes (their downfall most their losses).

The teams that beat Texas led or stayed with Texas from the start and
therefore didn't allow Texas to play conservative. That let to Texas
turnovers (5, 2, 4, and 2 in their 4 losses).
