The San Francisco Giants just won the World Series!

Lynette, are you happy now??!!!!!! Yessssssssssss.

OK. Back to Football. 

Last year on TV, I watched a California HS team (Sherman Oaks Notre Dame) v a 
Texas High School football in a game that was at the Jerry Dome. Apparently, 
California players can only tackle below the waist, while the Texas kids had no 
such restriction. Both teams were to play by the rules of their respective 
federations. That seemed absurd to me.

Let's face it, the game is violent. Helmets, while adding protection, also give 
one a sense of safety and fearlessness. If Bo, Carl and company teach the kids 
correctly, there shouldn't be an issue, but the heat of the game is what it is.
