[Husker] Pinkel Asks Beebe to Look at Osborne Hit

Those cars used to go 230+ mph at the bigger tracks until they slowed them down a few years back. And, any Nebraska fan should remember the recent 'safer barrier' now used in the walls, as it was developed at UNL.

Maybe they can get the kids to slow down?

Nascar has done it the 'right' way and adapted the equipment to make things safer, not by changing the rules per se. The NFL has access to much safer helmets (and therefore every level below it does as well) but chooses not to work with the folks who develop the technology because the companies who have it are little and unknown.

They should quit wearing seatbelts and helmets in nascar. Crashes happen!
