[Husker] Pinkel / Time Outs / Player Eligibility after injury attend

"Mizzou coach Gary Pinkel has asked the Big XII to review Courtney
Osborne's sack

of Blaine Gabbert as an illegal helmet-to-helmet hit."

.....and as a result, Coach Bo Pellini has asked the Big XII to review
Gary Pinkel and who could have possibly hit him in the head as he wasted
all three of his time outs prior to the 4th quarter.

I thought I knew the rule book very well, BUT, someone help
me...........Gabbert, after being hit by Osbourne, was attended to by
training staff. There were no time outs left for Mizzou. The play was
reviewed. Then we had a TV timeout. Does the TV timeout allow for
Gabbert to be eligible for the next play? I did not think so as under
rule, the player must come out for at least one play; but it did not
happen. Those of you who believe in conspiracy (and many in section
16A) thought this was nothing other than allowing Gabbert some more time
to clear the cobwebs.............
