Not to mention how badly blown that call was in the first place with Gabbert clearly fumbling it before he was down (or his "forward progress" stopped).
Honestly, some officials should be sitting next week out as well.

Well then the Big 12 better also look at a block thrown on Terrence Moore at about the 2:40 mark of the first quarter. And while they are at it, a hit in the first quarter on Niles Paul going over the middle (I forgot the time of it). Both hits involved helmets colliding.
You can't tell me Nebraska has the only two players in two weeks and 12 games who have hit someone else's helmet with their own helmet.

Mizzou coach Gary Pinkel has asked the Big XII to review Courtney Osborne's sack
of Blaine Gabbert as an illegal helmet-to-helmet hit.
When I first saw that play on the stadium screens, I had a deep down suspicion
that Osborne could get suspended for it. Frankly, I'll be shocked if Osborne is
able to play against Iowa State, based on the precedent set last week.
