[Husker] Statement from UNL University Communications re Big 10/Big

A very precisely worded statement, considering that the Big 10 has already
announced that no formal offers can be extended until after the meeting
of the Big 10 CEOs in June.

What it DOESN'T say is whether or not there has been any communication by or on behalf
of the Big 10 as to whether or not Nebraska would entertain a formal offer.  

Sounds like they would, though what the answer is remains up in the air.

Is this what Ben Bradlee would have called a non-denial denial?

And as I said a couple of weeks ago, Notre Dame remains the key to all the
conference expansion plans, when they decide everything will happen, and
rather quickly.  

It sounds like maybe the Big 10 may be trying to draw a line in the sand for
the Irish.  (That didn't work for the Tories over the weekend, will it work for 
the Big 10?)
