FWIW, there is no confirmation on this rumor.  Every other mention of
this supposed offer just links back to the Kansas City radio station's
report.  I'm not doubting that it may happen, but WHB has nothing to
back it up with yet, other than with "numerous sources close to the
negotiations."  Nobody else says there are even negotiations, let
alone official contacts.  I'll hold back on the champagne til I hear
it from Perlman or Osborn.
