We live in CT and have been following the team as best we can out here. They are never on tv here. Only the Uconn women are on. They showed some of their game the other night, the beginning when they were down, not later in the game when they were playing well. ESPN seems to like to show upsets or close games so that is what they went to. Maddening! Hopefully we will get to see them before the championship game. UConn is sure to be there and are so dominant this year that I don't think the Huskers have a chance against them If the do get to that game hopefully it will be competitive.
I think many Husker fans are interested in the team but are in the same situation we are in CT. We just never get to see them.

Rod, at least you have watched them, some of the people that were coming to the games had never been to a women's college game, they didn't know the women's game doesn't have a 10 second rule. Also the other thing that has me mad is how the university has jumped the season ticket bandwagon, now that the women are winning they have opened the ticket sales for new holders till the end of march. It will be interesting to how long these people will support the program when they start having the 20-10, 18-12 seasons.

> Just because some of us don't post about the Husker women doesn't mean we don't care about them. I've been following them as best I can this year. The recent tournament game on ESPN was only my second chance to see them on TV. The other was a Husker Nside "broadcast" where the screen was about the size of a pack of matches. It's been a busy past few months and I haven't made it to a game. I was traveling for the first two tournament games, and thought about going to KC, but work schedule won't allow it.

>> Not shocking. First of all, it's women's basketball, which doesn't get a lot of coverage regardless of what team you are. Women's basketball fans think that people want big names, but when someone like UConn runs through a season destroying everything in their path, it lessens the interest, not increases it.

But now you can walk up and get very good seats, it will be the same way for WBB give a couple of years after they fall back to being not so good and the crowds will be back to the 2500 or that they had before they beat LSU KSU. I guess I'm calling all those people bandwagon jumpers.

Even when I have been talking about the how much I enjoy watching them play, they will make a comment that is obviously regarding the men's basketball team. Devaney should have been packed for all the Big XII season, yet it was only the last couple of games that were close to sellouts. All I can say is they missed a great basketball season and a great bunch of Lady Huskers.
