The exact same thing can be said for the Women's Bowling team! And they
have been at, or near, the pinnacle for a long time...
That is what happens when you live in a "football state." No big deal.

I am amazed at the number of Husker fans that seem oblivious to the success
of the Lady Husker basketball team. Even when I have been talking about the
how much I enjoy watching them play, they will make a comment that is
obviously regarding the men's basketball team. Devaney should have been
packed for all the Big XII season, yet it was only the last couple of games
that were close to sellouts. All I can say is they missed a great
basketball season and a great bunch of Lady Huskers.
