So when's the next time the Lady Huskers will be on television? Can we get Gary Fead in on this?

To be fair, I have noticed an uptick in women's basketball coverage this
season. FSN and ESPN are televising several games apiece over the weekend,
and there are usually at least a couple during the week. And to Jon's point,
I'm not sure if there's even demand for that much. To be brutally honest, I
have never followed the Huskers or Jays women's teams any more closely than
checking their scores in the paper, until this year. And it's taken an
amazing, undefeated season, just to get me to scan for their games when I'm
watching sports on the weekend. Note: I don't generally seek out the games,
I just randomly scan the channels to see if they happen to be on. And I
watch a lot of sports. Usually there's just something more compelling to me,
such as USA hockey the past two weeks. It's not exactly a problem with
women's basketball not being compelling. This year at least, I'd much rather
watch the NU women's team than the NU men's team. But to me, it's harder for
the women's game to be more compelling than the men's.
