[Husker] Non-Conference Schedules

Never assume anything, but there is no apparent need to change non-conference schedules at this time. The Big Ten also plays 8 conference games each season, so it would appear that the current slate of games would be fine. However, there has been talk of going to 9 conference games, and that would require schedule modifications.

As for Oklahoma and Texas, my guess is that unless television intercedes, I doubt that that Big XII schools will be interested in playing Nebraska in football anytime soon. Basketball, maybe. Volleyball, perhaps. Baseball, probably, if only because they want non-conference games that don't require as much travel.

Subject: [Husker] Non-Conference Schedules

Am I correct in assuming that Nebraska's non-conference schedule in football will mostly remain unchanged? I'm particularly interested in the Tennessee games in 2015 & 2016. There were no Big 10 schools scheduled before the switch to B10.

Now Oklahoma and Texas can be scheduled as a non-conference opponent.
