[Husker] Wow, Texas

Dysfunctional is right.  Texas has a problem and there are 9 enablers.  We'll
see how long it lasts...

But I've got to be thinking that while the current deal that is being proposed
might be market value, what will things look like in 4 or 5 years?  The Big 12
hasn't done very well compared to some of the other conferences when making
those long term deals, especially when you consider where some of the 
games are
broadcast (versus, etc).  The "new" bowl alliances have also pretty much been
underwhelming as well when you compare to the Big 10 or SEC.

I can't help but think life will be better for almost every sport for 
NU in the
Big 10 except baseball.  That one hurts.  I hope some mid-week games / series
can be played against OU, OSU, MU, etc.  That could help RPI instead of 
playing
S. Dakota, Northern Colorado, etc.
