Interesting, now the "committment" is to 2018 and what Perlman said, was that he and TO were told the committment was to 2016. Things never stay the same with Texas. 

I'm sorry, I'm so HAPPY to be OUT of the Big XII-2! So the Legislature trumps the University? That's the way I'm seeing this..... What does TAMU do? Stay until 2018 or go to the SEC? Or, does the Legislature decide that too? 

I'm thinking force out --- does it look that way to anyone else? Nebraska's hand was forced, then Texas in it's massive greed, keeps the profits! Gets their private Texas only network, freezes the others out, and while doing so, gets rid of the "1" dissenting, honest vote that dares to disagree with them. 

I hate Texas more and more!
