[Husker] Reflections on the Big Move

I listened to the Regent's meeting last week (there's a first!). When 
Harvey said that he thought that penalties from the league would be 
inappropriate, I took it to mean that the league didn't have the right 
to penalize Nebraska given the fact that other schools (Texas 
especially) had been shopping around for a new conference. In the case 
of Texas,  had made a public statement that they had an offer from the 
Pac-10 before the meeting in KC were over.

I also remember hearing the Big Ten commissioner say that the Big Ten 
Network planned on showing some Nebraska games next year. Those games 
may or may not be football. Could be that any media "penalty" imposed by 
the Big XII could be made up in revenue from the Big Ten Network.
