I suspect you're probably right. I saw something in one of the many
articles I read today that I didn't know. The Big 12 is incorporated in
Delaware (as are many companies). Under Delaware, law it would require
only a majority vote to disband the conference; the Big 12 bylaws are
silent on the issue. If you're keeping score at home, NU plus CU plus
the five from the BTS equals seven, or exactly enough votes to disband.
If all this is correct (I read it on the Internet, so it has to be
true), it could get NU out for free.
