[Husker] Conference Start Dates

That's one of those things that is still to be negotiated.  I've heard that Nebraska and the Big Ten are thinking about next season so that the Big Ten can begin playing a championship football game, but that will require some funding to cover the Big XII exit fee.

Colorado will likely wait until 2012 to make the switch, as 2 years notice means no exit fee.  Colorado is still in debt, paying off money they borrowed to fire Gary Barnett.  They couldn't afford to fire Dan Hawkins, so I really doubt they'll leave early unless the Big XII votes to disband.

What's the timeline for when Colorado will begin Pac 10 play or Nebraska in the Big Ten?  I haven't seen any dates anywhere.
