[Husker] Chicago Tribune says Nebraska will join the Big Ten

I wonder if the SEC will pick up anyone. TAM is more interested in SEC than
PAC (it sounds like). Mizzou and KU are not too far from Arkansas. So one or
both could be picked up, you have to thing KU BBall would be appealing to
some conference.

I hate to see what this will do to some college wrestling teams. Mizzou has
a solid team but no SEC teams wrestle. ISU does as well and will be left out
in the cold. All B10++ teams wrestle (except ND if they ever join). Pac10
has some teams (mixing some of the Cal St teams) so OK and OSU add
legitimacy to those teams.

Just a thought, but if NU is to go to the Big 10, and Texas then decides to
go to the Pac-10 with their buddies, leaving the Big-12 with nothing...

These games until the transition could be really interesting. Think about
the hard feelings at MU, KU and KSU games. The Big-12 officials now out of a
job, calling the games. Heck, they might put 10 minutes back on the clock
against us. :)
