>From listening to the guys on Unsportsmanlike Conduct this afternoon,
it sounds like its a done deal - all that's left is the official
announcement.  Apparently some wailing coming out of the states of
Kansas and Missouri, cuz it looks like Mizzou at least is not on any
"in" list at this point.

While I'm sort of sorry it breaks up the Big XII, and does serious
damage to what had been the Big 8 and long lasting relationships and
rivalries, the Big XII was a less than great deal for Nebraska, who
got little or no support from those schools when the league was
formed.  And I'm glad its Dr. Tom in the AD's chair who gets to
correct that now.
