Rod...good post.  Thanks for the link on Alvarez.  Gotta love that guy, what a straight shooter.
I'm N with the Big 10 bandwagon.  Hope I don't take a header if this thing breaks down.  Bring us into the barn Tom!

Amen, Dave. Here was an article yesterday with an interview with Wisconsin AD Barry Alvarez and none of his quotes mention Nebraska. His comments relative to expansion were about Notre Dame.

Also, here
was an ESPN article this afternoon which mentions the Big Ten badly wanting ND in their conference.

The latter column included a couple of statements about Nebraska I found interesting/entertaining.

"Nebraska is being cast as the Judas of the entire opera, with schools
such as Kansas suggesting that Tom Osborne consider his roots before
pushing the plunger that detonates college football as we know it."

...it always has been. The Big 10 wants Notre Dame first and foremost, by a

large margin, before it wants anyone else including Nebraska. They aren't done

talking. If Notre Dame accepts an invite to the Big 10 and then the Big 10

decides to stop at 12 teams...we aren't in too good a spot. Everyone be careful

with all this talk about how we are in the driver's seat. That can turn around

180 degrees in a split second.
